Donald Trump

An audio recording of Donald Trump, Republican presidential nominee, explicitly making derogatory statements about assaulting women from 2005 was leaked October 7. Trump was having a conversation with Billy Bush, an american radio and TV host. They were allegedly talking about Arianne Zucker, their escort to the show.

The footage was obtained by The Washington Post. Trump and Bush were filming an episode for Access Hollywood in 2005 about Trumps soap opera, Days of Our Lives. The conversation surfaced social media and Trump is once again being called out for sexism.

“I moved on her and I failed… I did try and f*** her. She was married…And I moved on her very heavily. I moved on her like a b****…then all of a sudden I see her with those big phony t**s,” said Donald Trump.

It’s when they specifically spoke about Zucker whom was coming to escort them to the show. Zucker is best known as her role as Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives.

“Unfortunately, there are too many people in power who abuse their position…I choose to stand tall with self-respect and use my voice to enrich, inspire, and elevate the best of who we are as people,” said Zucker.

Trump released a statement calling his conversation “locker room banter” along with Bush who deleted his twitter account. Bush said he is “obviously very embarrassed and ashamed.” Bush encouraged and agreed with Trump in the recording.

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful. I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything..grab them by the p****. You can do anything,” said Trump.

The public discussed over the weekend how Trumps “locker room banter” is actually a form of bragging about sexual assault. The hashtag #LockerRoomTalkIn5Words was trending with over 14,000 tweets. This hashtag was made to bring awareness to consent.

More women have come forward accusing Donald Trump of sexual assault. Including multiple contestants of the Miss Teen USA Pageant. According to Buzzfeed, a 1997 contestant from Vermont, Mariah Billado recalls having to cover herself and redress quickly because Trump just walked into their room. “Girls were just scrambling to grab stuff” said Billado told Buzzfeed.

Three other women also said that Trump walked into their dressing rooms, some as young as 15. Trump said that as an owner of the beauty pageant, he is entitled to walk into dressing rooms.

“You see these incredible looking women. And I sort of get away with things like that,” said Trump.
