Athens Drive football versus Sanderson ended with a tough loss 42-21. The game took place Friday, October 1. The game started off with strong momentum with Athens scoring on the second play of the game. This momentum continued until the half where players started to get injured and was the turning point for Sanderson. John Hunda, a player on the Athens football team, said, ”every player played their best in this game, but in the end Sanderson came out victorious.” The Jags next game is at home field versus Enloe Oct. 8.
