At Athens, students are known for having some of the most pleasant hallways during class transition. Hallways are described as “Spacious” “Comfortable”, and “Relaxing” and allow students to have a short break from their intense classes. Meditation sessions are frequently held in the hallways, and students always go to their classes feeling calm and refreshed.
“Why go to a spa when you can just go to Athens? It doesn’t cost any money, and you always leave feeling better than you did when you entered,” said Phoebe Terese, freshman at Athens Drive.
Indeed, this sentiment is shared among a lot of students, so much so that a few neighboring spas and yoga centers have gone out of business. They just can’t compete with the calm, comfortable Athens’ atmosphere.
Not just are the hallways always relaxing, all the students in these halls are very polite. Students are very respectful of one another, and apologize profusely if they make even the slightest error.
“Yesterday morning, one of my friends accidentally bumped into some kid when we were walking by. He proceeded to apologize to that guy for like, five minutes, and gave him his entire salary for the month as compensation for the horrible offense he had just committed,” said Arnold Perlstein, sophomore at Athens Drive.
The hallways are also the most spacious in the state; there is always plenty of room for everyone to get to class, and “Claustrophobia” is a thing of the past.
“Y’know, sometimes I feel like I could just pull out a blanket and take a nap during my walk to class. Can’t do that though, don’t want to ruin our school’s perfect attendance!” reasoned Dorothy Ann, junior at Athens Drive.
On the topic of attendance, Athens is in fact, perfect; zero people have ever been late to class at all, and that number shows no sign of changing.
“Personally, I don’t see the point of these attendance raffles if everyone always gets to class on time. If you want to give out stuff for free, just say so,” said Perlstein.
As a whole, these amenities, from the large hallways and meditation sessions, students always feel mentally ready to go to class each day.
“I’ve actually stopped sleeping ever since I started going to Athens. The meditation sessions with my friends give me more than enough energy for the day!” said Ralphie Tennelli, senior at Athens Drive.
Given all these wonderful experiences from many Athens students, it is clear that the hallways at Athens are some of the best in the world, and definitely aren’t crowded, cramped, and certainly do not cause students to get to class late.
