Mukbangs have been a huge sensation on social media in 2024. It’s no secret that Crumbl Cookie has taken over the food review scene. Their new flavors every week keep customers coming back, anticipating the exciting experience.
Crumbl Cookie was created in 2017, by founders Jason Mcgowan and Sawyer Hemsley. They collaborated to make the perfect decadent chocolate chip cookie, which turned into a craze of flavors.
The company started in Utah and slowly dispersed throughout the United States due to its smart marketing strategies and rotating menu.
By offering delivery and pick-up options, they have expanded their market, which has made it easier for customers to receive the cookies without having to wait in line. Their cute pink boxes are a part of the aesthetic appeal of the company.
While influencers have differing opinions on the cookies, many of them being Kylie Jenner, Nara Smith, Emma Chamberlain, Tana Mongeu and Selena Gomez, I have made a fun goal to try the cookies’ new flavors every week for the past month. So far, my top five favorite flavors are Churro, Chocolate Chip, Waffle, Oreo and Confetti Milkshake, in no certain order. Though everyone’s top five is different due to their wide variety of flavors, I have learned while purchasing these treats that Crumbl Cookie is a light-hearted, family and friend-oriented company that wishes to serve customers a memorable experience while eating their cookies.
While Crumbl Cookie is known to be an innocent bakery, there has been some speculation about its nutritional value. With sweet treats ranging from 700 to 1180 calories per large cookie, some nutritionists believe that people need to stop consuming them. However, I believe that a few bites of the cookies occasionally doesn’t hurt.
Now, for a review of the past few weeks flavored cookies.
The classic chocolate chip cookie has always been a staple within the cookie circulation. It has a crispy texture on the outside and a soft chewy inside. This cookie is safe if you’re scared to try the other exotic flavors.
The next flavor, Confetti Milkshake, is possibly my personal favorite. It’s almost like you’re biting into an ice cream sandwich. The outside is a sugar cookie coated in sprinkles around the sides. The inside is cooled and soft.
The churro cookie battles with the confetti milkshake for 2nd place. The cookie is both crunchy and soft and is topped with a cinnamon sugar buttercream frosting swirl. I have tried my best to remake this flavor at home many times but I can never make it as good as Crumbl.
The waffle cookie tastes real, in the best way… this one is for the waffles over pancake team. You are given buttercream to spread over the cookie in replacement of butter. The cookie has visible dents just like a regular waffle would, so they’re almost identical.
The Oreo-flavored cookie is usually either a hit or miss for people. Some find it too sweet and some think it’s just perfect. In my opinion, I think it tastes like a cookies and cream Blizzard. The cookie is soft and cold—perfect to dip into a glass of milk. The flavors of this cookie come together to form a perfect Oreo bite.
Those are just 5 of the 200+ varieties of cookies that Crumbl cookie has. They have gone viral and for good reason. Crumbl Cookie is more about the experience than the taste for me. Whether you’re bringing a box of cookies to share with friends or colleagues, or going for a sweet treat on a lazy day; Crumbl Cookie will not leave you dissatisfied.
