Athens Drive to host fun-run in support of Ukraine

Students put up flyers around the school to advertise for the event.

When there is a big international problem, students of Athens Drive unify to take it head-on. As the Ukrainian war crisis continues, Athens Drive students have banded together to host a charity fun-run and tailgate April 30 from 9:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Jag Stadium.

This cash-only event will hold the run at 10:15 a.m. and continue with food, games, and a raffle with a winner announced at the end of the event. Anyone can register to run through the website until April 27.

Proceeds from this event go to the ICRC, and allow Ukrainians access to resources including first aid, critical care, food, and shelter. Proceeds additionally support hospitals, help to repair water stations,  help separated families to reconnect with one another, and even support families with damaged homes.
