Summer Plans

Athens Drive students are finishing up their final quarter in the 2013-2014 school year. Every student has different plans for “Summer 2K14.”

1. “What is the most exciting thing you’re doing this summer?”

2. When is this taking place?”

3. What are your feelings toward this event?”

Dany Bilong, Sophomore

1. “I’m going to visit Hawaii for the second time to do the general tourist stuff.”

2. “I’m leaving Mid- June and coming back Mid- July.”

3. I think it’s cool because Hawaii is a big, beautiful and awesome place.”

Laura Thompson, Senior

1. “Sleeping, for sure.”

2 “All the time.”

3. “I love sleep, so pretty good.”

Brooke Bordonaro, Freshman

1. “I’m traveling to Italy and Greece with the ‘People to People’ organization. I will be sightseeing and exploring the culture.”

2. “I will be gone from the end of June to the beginning of July.”

3. “I am really excited to go on this once-in-a-lifetime experience and I hope I don’t miss too much back home.”

Chris Gebbia, Junior

1. “I’m going to Italy to explore and to see the Tower of Pisa.”

2. “Sometime in July.”

3. “I’m excited to go see where my family is from.”

Taylor Warnock, Sophomore

1. “I’m going to ASP (Appalachia Service Project). We are building houses for people who cannot afford having their houses repaired.”

2. “During July.”

3. “I’m really excited but nervous about the work we will have to do in order to make our trip a success.”
