Riddles

Riddles are quite confusing, but you end up realizing the answer is not always as hard as it seems. Test these riddles out and try to not get stumped.

1. A man has a barrel filled with oil that weighs 100 pounds, and then he put something into it. The barrel now weighs less than 100 pounds. What did he put in the barrel?
Answer: A hole
2. A boy was at the carnival and went to a stand where a man told the boy, “If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if cannot guess the right weight, I will pay you $50.” The boy saw no scale so he agreed. He thought no matter what the man writes he’ll just say he weighs differently. In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?
Answer: The man did just that and wrote ‘your exact weight’ on the piece of paper.
3. What four days begin with the letter ‘T’?
Answer: Tuesday, Thursday, today, and tomorrow
4. What must be broken before you can use it?
Answer: An egg
5. A murderer is sentenced to death. He must choose between three different rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that have not eaten in three years. Which room is safest?
Answer: The third room because if the lions that have not eaten in three years then they are dead.
