Maker Faire North Carolina
The Maker Faire is North Carolina’s celebration of everything made. Every year at Maker Faire, North Carolina Makers, crafters, scientists, inventors and artists come together for a day of friendly fun and inspiration. From homemade cookies to homemade robots, the NC Maker promises something for everyone in a showcase of the American creative spirit. The event is Saturday, June 7, at the NC Fairgrounds.
International Festival of Raleigh
The International Festival offers three days of international dance, food and cultural exhibits. Over 50 different groups from around the world participate to showcase their food, traditional dance and customs. Join for an entertaining, informative and delicious event. It will be held Friday through Sunday (Sept 19, 20 and 21) at the Raleigh Convention Center.
St. Ann International Food Festival
The 7th annual International Food Festival, is on Saturday, Sept. 27th and will have 18 countries represented this year. All food at the festival is prepared and served by the parishioners of St. Ann Church. Free entertainment will be provided throughout the day by a variety of local talent, and kids can enjoy the “Kids’ Games” area. Festival admission and parking are free. The event is open to the public from 11:30 am till 6:30 p.m.
Raleigh NC, 4th of July Fireworks Show
Downtown Raleigh will be hosting the city’s annual 4th of July fireworks show on Fayetteville Street and at the Red Hat Amphitheater. There will be kids rides and games, Circus Maximus, street performers, eating contests, food and art vendors and live music. This is a free and fun event for the family. The events start around noon and fireworks will start around 9:30 p.m.
SouthEast Crab Feast
The 4th annual Southeast Crab Feast will be hosted June, 14 from 4-7 p.m. in Raleigh. This event offers the lowcountry heritage of outdoor cooking of fresh seafood. This is an all you can eat extravaganza that will offer fresh out of the ocean blue crabs, low country boil, shrimp potatoes, and corn and beef sausage. There will be music and a family fun environment. This event is hosted at Pullen Park and prices range from $12.50 to $29.00.
OneRepublic Native Summer Tour with The Script
Wednesday, Aug 13 at 7 p.m. at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre the Script and OneRepublic will be performing. Join the fun and rock out with your friends and family. Tickets are starting at $26.00.
