How is it like playing on a high-school sports team?

“I really like playing on a high-school team, it is fun. It helps me get along with other people and not just be all by myself. It gets stressful sometimes because I feel over pressured because they expect me to always win, but you know everybody fails.”

Are you involved in any clubs?

“No, I am not involved in any clubs.”

What do you do outside of school and basketball?

“I don’t do too much out of school and basketball. Other than that, I sing in the choir for my church, that is about it. ”

What are your biggest achievements?

“I was First Team All District last year in basketball. I was ranked number one in the state and I was also a nominee for First Team All State.”

What are your goals after high-school?

“My goals after high-school is to go to a Division I college, a university, and play basketball there. I have not chosen any colleges that I want to go to yet, I’m still thinking about it because there is a lot of opportunities out there.”

What’s your advice to people trying to make a career in sports?

“My advice to people trying to make a career in sports is to stay humble, keep God first of course, and practice and play like it is your last. Give it your all and never give up.”
